SYMPTOMS OF PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS
Joint symptoms frequently involve the joints of the hands, feet, knees, and spine with pain, swelling and destructive changes to the bone.

Inflammation of the joints where tendons and ligaments attach to the bone (enthesitis), often in the Achilles tendon or bottom of the foot (planter fascia)

Joint stiffness in the morning

Skin and Nail Lesions

Scaly patches of red and inflamed skin with a silvery appearance found on the elbows, knees, scalp and other areas.

Changes in the nails, Pitting and ridges are seen in the finger nails and toenails of up to 90% of patients with Psoriatic arthritis. Thickening or detachment of the nails (onycholysis) is also common.

WHEN SYMPTOMS APPEAR
The skin lesions and the joint symptom's often appear separately. In about 70% of Psoriatic arthritis patients, skin symptoms appear before joint symptoms Joint symptoms may appear before skin symptoms in up to 15% of patients In some cases, skin symptoms may be present for many years before the joint symptoms appear
