PSORIATIC
ARTHRITIS DIAGNOSIS
Although there is no specific laboratory test to diagnose
Psoriatic Arthritis, several test including blood tests and x-rays are often used
to help in diagnosis. Psoriatic Arthritis is diagnosed mainly on the finding of
both inflammatory joints and skin disease. Characteristic skin and nail changes
can be helpful in the diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis.
EARLY
TREATMENT
Specific treatment for psoriatic arthritis depends on the type
and severity of the disease, which should be measured by regular clinical evaluations.
Physical and occupational therapy may be helpful early in the course of the disease.
